Integer, prime number, reciprocal.  As with any subject, maths has its own specialist language, which can be very off-putting.

I suggest you create a glossary of maths terms, which you keep to hand and add to as and when you come across a new word.  You will then have a useful, quick and easy reference guide, which you can consult in lessons or use for revision purposes.
