Study Skills: Revision

When should you begin revising for your exam?  Three months before? Two weeks before? One day before(!)?

The answer is…

None of these.  Revision should start on the first day of your course.

Review your notes at the end of each day.  Review them again at the end of the week.  Review them again at the end of the month.

Check that you understand what you have studied and, if not, either look up and check the information or ask somebody, such as your classmate or teacher.

Revision is an ongoing process and not something that you want to leave to the last minute.  Do it regularly!  Your future self will thank you.
